Welkom op de site van de Nieuwkomersvoorziening West-Friesland. 

Hier vindt u informatie voor ouders/verzorgers van kinderen die nog maar net in Nederland zijn.

Kinderen jonger dan zes jaar kunnen een nieuwe taal meestal uitstekend oppikken tijdens spel met leeftijdsgenootjes. Voor hen is inschrijven op een reguliere basisschool een prima stap. Kinderen van zes tot twaalf jaar kunnen profiteren van een nieuwkomersklas, waar zij intensief Nederlandse les krijgen.

On these pages you will find information for parents/caregivers of children who have only just arrived in the Netherlands.

Children under the age of six can usually learn a new language sufficiently while playing with other children t heir own age. For them registry in a regular primary school is a fine step. Children between the ages of six and twelve can benefit from a new comersclass.
